Hello! Mabuhay
Today is Anzac day so I decided to make 3 different sizes of poppy flower. I made 2 poppy flowers
with coloured paper and 1 made with normal paper and I coloured it. I glued some sticks to the poppy flower .It was so windy outside so I ask my mum to tape into the gate and put the big one on the grass so as everyone saw it that we are remembering our military heroes in our small way.I ask my father to take a photo with me.
I am a student in the Uru Mānuka Cluster. I am a Year 4 and my teacher is Mr Martyn. This is a place where I will share my learning. Please note that some of it will not be complete, it will be my first drafts. Remember to be positive, thoughtful and helpful when you leave me a comment.

Washing the Car
Kumusta!
Today I was making something out of bamboo that my dad cut it to our backyard. When I saw a weird kind of water gun it was pluged in a yellow box with the hose pluged in too. I wanted to try it so I ask my dads flatmate. It was called a water blaster when you press the yellow button under your hand then the water blaster will shoot a very strong pressure of water. I blasted the soap off the car it was splasing me and the gate. I was scrubbing the car with soap and a sponge to form so bubbles. It was very fun and I got wet but it was fine. Its good to do chores and help my mom to wash her car even though the weather is a bit cloudy.

Feijoa
Hi everyone
Welcome to my to first blog post.As the sunshine is very nice this afternoon my sister and I went to play some badminton in the back yard. So we started to play when I accidentally throw the shuttlecock into a small tree. When I went to get it I saw some weird oval shaped fruit it was a light green colour. It was a Feijoa. A Feijoa is a seasonal fruit in New Zealand that usually ready to harvest from April - May every year. It has long lasting tropical aroma like guava and pineapple. You can eat it raw with the skin or make good pies or jams. I can't wait to try it because i haven't tried it before. I'm just wondering what it tastes like. I feel so excited to to my first blog.
