Anzac day

Hello! Mabuhay

Today is Anzac day so I decided to make 3 different sizes of poppy flower. I made 2 poppy flowers
with coloured paper and 1 made with normal paper and I coloured it. I glued  some sticks to the poppy flower .It was so windy outside so I ask my mum to tape into the gate and put the big one on the grass so as everyone saw it that we are remembering our military heroes in our small way.I ask my father to take a photo with me.

  1. Well done Lyah. You have done a brilliant job at making your poppies. What a great idea to put some on your fence. We did some but I just put them on the windows and front door.I got up early on Saturday, and stood at the gate with some candles going.
I have seen a few poppies made out or recycled bags.People put them on their fence which I thought was a great idea.
Well done to you for doing something to acknowledge those whose fought for our country.
What are you doing today?.I am going to take my dog for a walk soon.

  2. Good morning Lyah. Your greeting (mabuhay) had me looking at google this morning. I think you should be proud of your tatay and nanay for helping you with your projects.
It must have taken a while to colour in your large poppy! I made two out of red bags and put them on our fence to remember my uncle who died in WW2.
I am looking forward to seeing what you post today. Well done with all your work.
