Hello welcome back to my blog 

Today I did another activity of the summer learning journey. It was about making a paper ship and seeing if it could float on water. Sometimes the boat breaks so you should fold it a bit hardly. I us A4 paper then newspaper because I didn't have any newspaper. I decided to take a video then a photo.

Today I did another activity of the summer learning journey, it was about ice cream. We had to do a slide of ice cream, we had to translate sentences into Te Reo Māori words after we had to make our own ice cream and translate it too it was the hardest part but is was fun. After we had to figure out how much it costs. When you are done you make a new google drawing and make a little poster about ice cream.

Today I did another activity for the summer learning journey.We had to go on a site called Whichfaceisreal.com. In this activity we had to recognise two different faces and see which one of them is the real  and fak
e one. Its quite hard to judge which one is real because they almost the same.So what I do is I check some of the details  of the faces like the colour  the hair and also the background. Out of 20 test I got 15  correct answer.

The difference was that the girl had a slight of green smoke on the tip of her hair

Today I had to make a origami star.I followed a video and made 3 different sizes and I put some differenr coloured to make it more attractive as I don't have a coloured paper

The pink one is made out of A4 paper and the edges is little hard to fold.

The star with the smiling face is made out of photo paper and it was very easy to fold the edges.

The big multi coloured star is also made out of photo paper and the easiest to make .

Tip:Use a thicker paper to make it easier and to make a better shape of the star and fold it equally

Today I did another activity of the summer learning journey.Today we had to make a Hana Kōkō design and you might be thinking what is a Hana Kōkō. A Hana Kōkō is a like a Santa costume but you can make your own style and do some design.So today i will be showing you my Hana Kōkō design. Here is it

Today I did a Haiku poem. Haiku poems has 3 lines, each line has one syllables the first one has 5 syllables the second one has 7 syllables and lastly the third one has 5 syllables. We had to make a haiku poem where had to chose a topic for the poem. I chose spring and I thought really hard on what I should write  and also a bit careful because its has to be in syllables. Here is my poem

For today's post I decided to do the last task for the starter activities for the Summer Learning Journey. For this task we had to learn about the elements of art. After learning about it we needed to chose a piece of art to colour on Art colouring book. When colouring we needed to think about how to apply the elements of art onto our coloured art. 

What I have applied: Shape ,Colour, Texture, Value 

Shape: For this drawing I have used the shapes to guide me so that I can colour the drawing. 

Colour: I have use colour to define the colours of the shapes.

Texture:I used the outline to make the drawing more realistic. 

Value: I used different tones of colour to show the colour value of the waves.

This year I decided participate in the Summer Learning Journey to gain more knowledge about blogging. For this post I decided to do a starter activity. One of the task was we had to go on a site called Art Colouring Book. We had to do a colouring and post it on our blogs and compare it with the original art.
