We had to make a haiku poem where had to chose a topic for the poem. I chose spring and I thought really hard on what I should write and also a bit careful because its has to be in syllables. Here is my poem
Hi Lyah.
ReplyDeleteMy name is Katelyn and I go to Paroa School.
I like your poem because it goes together nicely. I like that you have sticked to your theme. What is your favourite season? Mine is spring because beautiful flowers bloom. I like the picture you have choosen for your poem. Maybe next time you could say what you enjoyed in your caption.
Keep up the good work!
Hello Lyah.
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful picture to match your poem.I struggle to remember how Haiku poems go.I'm glad that I work in class of children that can teach me.
I could picture myself walking through this picture on a warm, sunny day.Listening to bees buzzing around the delicate flowers.
Well done on completing another Summer Learning task.
Have a wonderful Christmas and holiday.
Kia ora Lyah,
ReplyDeleteHe tino pai tō mahi! Great work writing a creative haiku poem about spring and including a lovely image. You have included two of my favourite aspects of springtime in your poem - birds chirping and flowers blooming!
This year I wrote haiku poems with my year 7 class - we had so much fun working out the syllables for each line. Have you done haiku poetry before this activity?
Keep up the great work over the summer. I can’t wait to see more of your blogs soon!
