Now this legos I used were special they are like puzzle pieces . The legos were from a lego sculpture. Now this boat floated 12cm before it sank and I put on a eraser but it just sank. The things we did where Adrenaline forest and Spencer Park, Mega Air ,swimming and top team competition, rollerskating and sports centre, The amazing race and finally surfing. These activities where so fun to do and we also had fish and chips on the last day. My favourite activity was surfing.

This school holidays I am doing the Spring learning journey. I am doing activity 18. The activity said which paper plane files the best? Choose 3 of these different paper planes to make a test. Share your opinions about each of them and explain which one you think is the best and why. I choose The dart paper plane,mighty mite and nakamura lock plane.
I think that the dart paper plane was the best paper plane out of the 3. A reason is that it was the one that was easiest to make and it flew the furthest. The Nakamura lock was so close to the dart but the dart was further.The mighty mite flew nearly the same length of the Nakamura paper plane.

What is Reflection,Rotation, Translation and symmetry.Reflection is when a object has been put in front of a mirror or something that reflects what is in front. Rotation is a bit similar to Translation. Rotation is when you duplicate a shape and Rotate it to a angle.Translation is when you get a shape and duplicate It and move it some where you don't rotate it at all. Symmetry is when you get a shape and fold and it would be the same shape.

Today I will be doing activity 13. It says Explain 5 reason why you might want to become a citizen of your country of study. The country I chose is Japan. Here are my reasons of wanting to become a citizen of Japan.
Reason number 1: It has a lot of beautiful landscapes that most people wanna visit so if you decided to stay as citizen there. You would be there for the beautiful landscapes to become even more beautiful . Like the cherry blossoms.
Reason number 2: They have really cool foods and gadgets that most people want. If you live there you can just have a small walk and find vending machines and cool corner stores.
Reason number 3: Most people see 180 yen I think its 180 dollars but in reality in usd(USA dollars) Its only 1.63 that's so much less than 180 dollars.
Reason number 4: Japan is a bit to advanced than most country's because most of there hotel staff or restaurants waiters are robots. There is one hotel with no staff just robots.
Reason number 5: In Japan there crime rate is so low only 1 in 175 households have guns that is less than most country's.

Hello I have been learning about the native birds. I had to make a paper mache. There where a few steps we had to do before we started. Step one was to choose what native bird you wanted to do. Me and Buddy chose a weka. Next we had to Shape the bird out of wire. Then we started paper macheing. We first had to do a few layers of newspaper.
Then a few layers of white paper. We had to make sure that there were no lumps and sticky out bits. Then we had to trace out the eyes and other features. After I was done doing that we had to start to paint.

Today I was at the student summit. I choose 4 different sessions to do. The one the one that I like to best was Scratch Jr.It was easy for me because I've used Scratch Jr before. I made a animation about a car about to run over a rabbit but the rabbit saves it self by getting out of the way. It was mostly easy but in one part I had to fix a few stuff. Today our class made a hot chocolate. Firstly we had to find a buddy. Then we waited for four people to finished there hot chocolate.It was set up at the blue table in the corner. We where the first to come up we had to use my recipe because she didn't put in milk in her recipe . it was very plain and my buddy said it tasted like the paper cup the the hot chocolate. We asked for hot water because it was only to half way.

We had to colour in some leaves and cut them but we had to use autumn colours then dye a tree.The autumn colours were orange, yellow, brown and red. Today we went to the Hornby mall to do some reading the teachers said to be quiet but no one stayed quiet. It wasn't that far all we had to do is walk to through a park and go through a tunnel mostly everyone was screaming in the tunnel. It was very loud because there was echo's.
When we got there we saw all kinds of school's but most of all we got to listen to people reading in different language. Me and my friends chose Tagalog. There were other classes there with us we sat down quickly and listen to the teacher reading. On the way there to the Tagalog teacher we got lost a we figured out where they were and we just went into a circle its was fun.
At the end there was two poems that were told and there was 5 or 6 words that were chosen for a poem I only remember one of the words and its potato.
